The AGS Awards auction in Rome turned the evening of 04 November into a fundraiser for the SiGMA Foundation. Six lots went under the hammer during the ceremony: four artworks, a signed CR7 jersey and a private desert safari in Dubai. Together they raised €30,600. All proceeds go to the SiGMA Foundation’s work in education, healthcare and local development.

The auction took place at Corsie Sistine in Rome as part of the AGS Awards programme, which also included a raffle, the awards presentation and a quiz. Hosts Mark Borg and Trudy Kerr led the bidding and worked the room lot by lot. The catalogue ran from paintings and mixed-media works by four artists to a VIP experience in the Dubai desert and a jersey signed by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Before the first lot, Mark Borg reminded guests of the Rome auction’s track record: its two previous editions had together raised more than €130,000. With the bar set, here is how the six lots went, one by one.

Auction 1: sold for €7,500 to MonetizeAd

The auction opened with a football favourite: a Portugal shirt, number 7 from the 2026 World Cup, signed by Cristiano Ronaldo himself and supplied with a certificate confirming it is genuine. The Power Plugin, which builds reward tools for gaming and betting operators, donated it from its Original Memorabilia Collection in support of the Foundation.

Auction 2: sold for €4,000 to TrafficStars

The second lot was Divine Love by Spaz Uno, which sets masculine and feminine energy against each other in spray paint and a single-colour palette, and asks what happens when the balance tips. Identity, duality and harmony are its themes. The Lebanese muralist has worked for more than ten years, treating walls as a record of modern life, with dreamlike imagery and strong emotion. His work has been recognised internationally.

Auction 3: sold for €2,100 to HasTraffic

L’Enfant Prodige by EMÍR.

Motorsport took centre stage with L’Enfant Prodige, in which EMÍR follows Charles Leclerc from private person to global icon, placing the man next to the Ferrari driver the world knows as Charles Leclerc. Raw spray, stencils and a Banksy-style edge carry the themes of fame, vulnerability and power. EMÍR splits his time between Puglia and Monte Carlo and builds large pieces around icons from cinema, music, sport, and fashion. EMÍR was glad to put his work behind the cause, calling the Foundation’s project a brilliant idea. To HasTraffic, who took L’Enfant Prodige home, he sent a warm thank-you, saying he is “really grateful” for the choice.

Auction 4: sold for €6,500 to 1xBet

Sophia by Lucienne Spiteri.

Then came Lucienne Spiteri’s Sophia, which shows wisdom as a woman crowned in gold laurel, standing on a turning globe and meeting the viewer’s gaze. Five cherubs stand with her, each representing a side of being human: innocence, play, truth, change, and devotion. The painting treats wisdom as something lived and lasting. Spiteri took up painting early, inspired by her artist father, and works in both painting and photography, using bold colour and fluid forms to capture mood and place.

Auction 5: sold for €7,000 to Nexxie Group

ll Punk a Bestia, DiPinto (Federico Pinto Schmid).

Il Punk a Bestia followed, a canvas that mixes ideas from opposing worlds with irony, and its playful tension questions fixed identities. Federico Pinto Schmid, who signs as DiPinto, builds textured works from geometric forms, bold colour, and symbols, drawing on Cubism, Expressionism, and Lyrical Abstraction, with identity, memory, and emotion as recurring themes.

Auction 6: sold for €3,500 to Josh Snow

The final lot left the canvas behind and swapped Rome for the Dubai dunes. The winning bidder gets a private VIP desert safari with private transfers, dune bashing, camel rides, sandboarding and sunset photography, plus a falcon show, VIP seating, a premium BBQ buffet, unlimited refreshments, traditional entertainment and a dedicated waiter.

Impact in numbers

All six lots support the same cause. In 2025, charity auctions brought the SiGMA Foundation more than €400,000, and that money now feeds its 2026 projects across several countries. Some are already complete: a water tank at the Wush Wush Kindergarten in Bonga, Ethiopia, now provides more than 200 children with steady access to clean drinking water, and a rundown kindergarten in Kaliro, Uganda, has been renovated to include three new classrooms and a staff room. Others are on this year’s roadmap, including a refurbished hostel in Malindi, Kenya, for young women affected by exploitation and expectant mothers, with psychological and medical support, and equipment for eye surgeries in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. The six lots in Rome added €30,600 to this year’s fundraising.

Every bid in Rome turns into a classroom, a glass of clean water, or a safe place for a mother-to-be. To get involved, find out how to give, sponsor a project, or join a fundraiser on the SiGMA Foundation page. Even small acts add up.
