Event Guide

Make the most of your time at Rome with the official SiGMA World Event Guide. AGS runs alongside SiGMA, AIBC, and FX.World under one roof. The guide covers exhibitors, conference highlights, networking opportunities, and evening events across all four brands. Whether you’re planning meetings within AGS or exploring the wider summit at Fiera Roma, keep it close to organise your schedule and navigate the full programme.

TRAVEL GUIDELINES

AGS arrives in Rome for its first edition, bringing the affiliate and performance marketing community together at Fiera Roma. Alongside the conference and exhibition, the programme features the Bloko Padel Tour, VIP creator meet-and-greets, the AGS Awards, Choose Your Roman Experience activities, and more. With events taking place across Fiera Roma and the city, we’ve created this practical guide to help you plan your journey, get around, and stay on schedule.

NAVIGATING THE CITY

How do I get to the venue?
If you’re staying in Rome’s city centre, we recommend taking the train. It’s affordable, generally on time, and easy to use. This is your best bet all week, especially since it runs directly to Fiera Roma’s North Entrance.

Taking the FL1 train
The FL1 runs through four stops before reaching Fiera Roma. Open Google Maps, enter Fiera Roma as your destination, and let it route you to the nearest FL1 station, just make sure you board the train heading towards Fiumicino Airport. Route: Roma Tiburtina → Roma Tuscolana → Roma Ostiense → Roma Trastevere → Fiera di Roma, continuing to Fiumicino Airport.

Getting to an FL1 station
If you’re staying somewhere in central Rome, you may need to take the Metro, a bus, or a taxi first to reach a station where the FL1 stops.

Good to know: Fiera Roma is one of Europe’s largest exhibition centres, known because of its striking, modern design. It has 10 pillar-free pavilions covering 150,000 square metres indoors and 40,000 square metres outdoors, a Conference Centre with 13 meeting rooms for up to 3,000 attendees, and space for up to 60,000 participants across the venue, with 7,000 on-site parking spaces.

How do I get to the venue if I’m coming from Fiumicinol Airport (FCO)?

The quickest way is the FL1 train, which runs directly from the airport to Fiera Roma. Follow the signs to the train station, grab a ticket from any self-service machine, and hop on. Trains run frequently, but it’s best to buy your ticket once you’re there, in case of luggage or flight delays.

What is the best way to get around the city?

Rome is best explored on foot, with buses, the metro, and trains covering the longer journeys. Many of the big sights are within walking distance of each other, so save the transport for when you’re covering more ground.

Get tickets through official ATAC channels, self-service ticket machines at Metro stations, or authorised retailers such as tabacchi shops. Contactless payment is also accepted on supported public transport.

Rome is also a great base for day trips. Florence is about an hour and a half away by train, Naples around an hour to an hour and a half, and Pompeii roughly two hours.

If you’d rather skip the train, a taxi is also an option.

One thing to know: This is best for those with time to spare.

The route may be short on paper, but Rome’s traffic can turn it into a longer ride.

What apps can I use to explore the city?

Ride-sharing apps like Uber and itTaxi are the safer bet in Rome. They verify drivers, track trips via GPS, and log ride data, so you always know who’s driving and where you’re headed.

A couple of things to keep in mind: Match the plate number, car, and driver photo to the app, and use the share-trip feature with colleagues or friends. And of course, avoid ride-sharing with strangers.

The SiGMA shuttle service

Pickup and drop-off at Fiera Roma
Shuttles will arrive and depart from a dedicated area inside the venue, close to the main entrance. Taxis will use a separate internal pickup and drop-off point. Follow the route, bay, and directional signs when you arrive.

Shuttle from Fiera di Roma train station
A free shuttle will run between Fiera di Roma railway station and the main entrance. If you prefer to walk, the east entrance is around 20 minutes from the station.

Finding your shuttle in Match

How to use the service:

  1. Open the transport section in Match and select your hotel, area, or shuttle line.
  2. Follow the walking directions to your nearest stop and check the route number before joining the queue.
  3. Check live arrivals and service alerts before leaving your hotel or Fiera Roma.

*Route changes: Stops and service times may change due to traffic controls, ZTL restrictions, or instructions from local authorities.

Taxi service

FREENOW by Lyft, itTaxi, and WeTaxi will coordinate their services during the event, providing access to approximately 4,000 taxis across Rome.

For journeys from Fiera Roma, a dedicated taxi rank will be available inside the venue. Follow the signs to the designated taxi pickup and drop-off area.

About AGS

AGS is a multi-vertical affiliate and performance marketing conference focused on measurable business outcomes, not generic industry hype. It is designed for affiliates, media buyers, advertisers, networks, and solution providers working in non-gambling verticals.
Rome offers strong international connectivity, making it straightforward for European and global delegates to attend a concentrated four-day event. The city supports focused meetings, with a professional setting suitable for high-level commercial discussions.
No, AGS is deliberately positioned away from gambling and betting. Those categories are explicitly excluded from the agenda and floor. This keeps discussions brand-safe and relevant for mainstream performance marketing sectors.
Networking is curated rather than random, prioritising meetings between decision-makers who share clear commercial interests and objectives. You can expect practical conversations that aim to test budgets, partnerships, and longer-term deal flow.
Established companies with proven traction can exhibit to meet qualified affiliates, media buyers, and partners across multiple verticals. You can also explore sponsorships that increase visibility with a targeted audience of senior operators and decision-makers. Secure your booth!
Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) is part of the larger SiGMA World event, which brings together four major conferences under one roof: SiGMA (iGaming), AIBC (Blockchain & Crypto), FX.World (Forex) and Affiliate Grand Slam (Affiliate Marketing). All four run from November 02–05 at Fiera Roma, each in dedicated pavilions. Your AGS ticket doesn’t limit you to just one area—it unlocks access to all 8 exhibition halls, giving you the opportunity to explore additional exhibitors across SiGMA, AIBC, and FX.World.

Travel Guidelines

Yes. The cloakroom is located upstairs in a side room in Hall 1. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes. The registration desk is located upstairs at the East Entrance. The Finance, Information Point, and Lost and Found desks are also upstairs.
November weather in Rome is generally mild, though it can be changeable, and it’s one of the city’s wetter months, so plan for a few rainy days. Pack layers as evenings can be cool while days go warm and sunny. Don’t forget to bring a light jacket or cardigan for the expo itself, since the air conditioning in large venues like this tends to get cold.
Power: Rome uses three plug types – Type C (two small round pins), Type F (two larger round pins), and Type L (the Italian three-round-pin plug). So make sure to bring an adapter.
Money: You’ll be paying in Euros. Cards are widely accepted, but keep some cash on you too, as smaller vendors, markets, and street food stalls don’t always take cards. Withdraw from ATMs in secure spots, and give your bank a heads-up on your travel dates so a charge from Italy doesn’t get flagged and blocked.
Connectivity: Consider a local SIM or eSIM for data while you’re out and about, especially if you’ll be relying on Google Maps or ride-sharing apps to get around. Most major providers offer short-term tourist plans.
For the expo: Comfortable shoes are a must. You’ll be on your feet for most of the day. A portable charger or power bank is also worth packing, along with plenty of business cards for networking.
Yes, Rome is considered safe for tourists. But stay alert, pickpocketing can be an issue in crowded areas and on busy public transport. Stick to official taxi apps, avoid unmarked cabs or rides from strangers, and keep your bag close with valuables out of easy reach.
