AGS Summit provides perspectives for the future of marketing

The first AGS Summit to be held in Dubai has seen promising insight into new methods and strategies of the marketing world
Long term developments, recent innovations and complex interplaying factors were discussed by world leading marketeers during the AGS Summit of Dubai. More than 4,500 newcomers, entrepreneurs and industry insiders flocked to the Intercontinental Hotel Dubai Festival City for enticing conferences and unique networking opportunities with the world’s top marketeers.
The event was the first to be organized by the SiGMA group since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and still adhered to strict hygiene restrictions. The delegates were warmly welcomed in the luxurious Vista Lounge of the Dubai Intercontinental Hotel Festival City. In the luxurious Al Baraha Ballroom, the successes of the most creative innovators were celebrated with the AGS Awards.
From the candidates that made it into the small final selection via vote, judges selected the final picks for marketing solutions and newcomers to the industry. Click here to read about the winners of each category.
Throughout the expo, delegates were able to witness enticing conferences, visit the exciting exhibition and engage in unique networking opportunities on top of the Dubai skyline.
The UAE has been the leading government to encourage creative business ventures, with Raki Bench and Mohammed Id Yahia presented the grand opportunities of the region. Among others, Salah Eddine Mimouni, Edvinas Cernevicius, Gaurav Sethi, Adam Young, Dimitrije Ostojić, Michelle Held and Mugurel Cosmin Frunzetti discussed Marketing Worldwide on Tuesday morning.
Despite the ambitious efforts and creative solutions of every contester, only one winner could be select, and that was Hayi, a free networking app for neighbourhoods of Dubai. They were provided with free consultancy by industry experts, valuable networking opportunities and a free stand at the next AGS Summit, which will take place in Malta on November 16 to 19 this year.
This was followed by an exciting speech by Dave Crane, marketing expert and master of rhetoric presented his proven enhanced strategies of digital stagecraft and virtual storytelling, setting the stage for the many speakers to come, including Alexandra Karpova, Wade Tonkin, Matt Hagger, Brett Kaufman, Stefan Muehlbauer, Sohail Khan, Sergei Glaukus and Eli Zheleva.
While the networking opportunities enabled visitors to meet some of the most ambitious humans on earth, attendees were also able to meet the world’s first mobile advertising robot. RoboSignage is the first commercial robot developed by RoboAds and is equipped with sensory devices to avoid obstacles and engage with living observers. It is designed for indoor marketing and virtual telepresence, approaching people and offering explanations and knowledge on the NFT world, providing live crypto exchange info and transaction tools, as well as remote phone calls to customer service agents.
