Jack’s practice is heavily focused on advising clients with respect to the gaming and betting provisions of the Canadian Criminal Code. Lately, Jack has been assisting iGaming operators and suppliers obtain Ontario iGaming registrations and advising clients regarding compliance with the Ontario iGaming framework. Jack leverages his specialized knowledge in Canadian gaming law to help clients in various jurisdictions globally.
Jack has assisted gaming clients at various stages of development. He has acted for start-ups navigating through the introductory hurdles of establishing a gaming or quasi-gaming business. He has acted for large publicly traded companies on North American and European stock exchanges and private enterprises of varying sizes.
Jack has spoken at numerous gaming-related conferences, published papers, written articles, and appeared on national television.
When Jack is not practicing gaming law or spending time with his family, he plays competitive pinball. He has been ranked as high as 34th in the world and 3rd in Canada.
Jack is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law and the International Flipper Pinball Association.
