Amanda Blackford is the Director of Operations & Problem Gambling Services. Her staff provides support and assistance to all divisions of the agency as they carry out their regulatory responsibilities.
Amanda Blackford also administers the Commission’s responsible gambling initiatives, including as the Voluntary Exclusion Program. Which allows individuals to self-exclude themselves from casino facilities, and each of Ohio’s four casinos’ problem gambling strategies.
In addition, Amanda interacts with the Commission’s Ohio partners for Responsible Gambling to support statewide education, prevention, and treatment initiatives.
The Ohio State University awarded Amanda a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
